What a glorious afternoon. Late summer temperatures combined, early autumn colours and the river is beautifully clear. Stop in for a night away and enjoy a wonderful day’s exploring, followed by a great dinner and drinks by the cosy fire.

We love having dogs come to stay with us. For so many of us, they're a part of the family and dogs are allowed to go everywhere that guests go. With 6 acres of grounds beside the river and miles of off road walks surrounding the hotel, its a mini paradise for dogs and their owners.

Next time you're looking for a quick country getaway, make sure to bring the whole family!

Just enjoying the last of the lovely weather but a definite chill in the air and more and more leaves on the ground.

Whether you're staying with is for a few days or just poppikg in for a drink and bite to eat, enjoy a walk around the grounds and own by the ponds and river.

The hotel will be closed for food over the lunch period today 10th October for a private function. We will be open for hot drinks and the bar area will remain open for those wanting a drink at the bar.

Fishing season may be over now but we saw some lovely final days to the season.

Now its tying up flies and looking forward to March and a new year on the water!
