Our guests have been getting creative, there were pumpkins everywhere, and during the ghost stories around the fire there was a well timed 5 minute power cut which helped set the atmosphere!

Some people who stay at Acton Scott Escapes stay on site to relax in the woodland, others like to go out exploring the local towns and villages, the thing they have in common is that they are all nature lovers.
A beautiful place to explore is Ludlow, just a half hour drive from us. After a day of fine food and riverside walks come on back to base and relax in the hot tub

All our accommodation at Escapes is dog friendly, there are plenty of walks in the area to explore and each dog that has has been booked in through our website (the extras page at check out) will receive a special gift. Shropshire has many dog friendly cafes, pubs and attractions- these are listed in our welcome book or just ask your host for recommendations

We love our local suppliers, here are just two of the many local small businesses we support and you can order milk, tea and coffee in advance via our online shop and it will be ready for your arrival. Even better order one of our hampers and enjoy the full taste of Shropshire!

Weekend availability - due to a cancellation the weekend of Friday 2nd October is now available, all other weekends are booked for the rest of the year so don’t miss out on a stay at Hatton Grove Farmhouse. A great space for a birthday party, a large family gathering or a group of friends looking to relax together.
