It was so wonderful to read this review. It was an absolute pleasure to host our lovely guests at Lamplight Island, and we are delighted to hear that the family enjoyed everything the house and Lower Mill Estate have to offer.

What to do on a wet, windy, and rainy day? 🌧️💨

The absolute beauty of staying here is that our guests get complimentary access to the swimming pools (both indoor and outdoor!), the eco-lily lounge pool if you’re brave enough, and the sauna and steam room.

It’s such a great way to start the day, especially followed by a delicious hot choc at Ballihoo for elevenses! ☕🍫

We only have four remaining weekends left before the end of the year!

There’s plenty to enjoy on the Lower Mill Estate too, from the spooktacular Pumpkin Trail and pumpkin carving to the Halloween Monster Bash, along with lots of other family-friendly activities throughout the week. 🎃👻

Lamplight Island isn’t run by a large company. It’s our small family business.

I’ve come to realise that a big part of hosting is resilience. Not because criticism doesn’t hurt, but because you learn to keep showing up anyway.

With 148 reviews averaging 4.98⭐, I’m incredibly grateful for the trust our guests place in us, for the families who return year after year, and for the many kind messages that remind me why all the hard work is worthwhile.
