Ennerdale Scout Centre still operates with risk assessments and fire risk assessments so we ask customers to follow these guidelines.
⛔️Don’t forget if using gas appliances in tents please follow our guidelines on carbon monoxide, posters are all over the campsite ⛔️

🔥DUE TO CURRENT GOVERNMENT ADVICE 🔥

⛔️We will not be permitting open fires, Barbecues or fire pits until further notice⛔️

All groups who are camping must ensure you have the relevant fire extinguishers (In Date) and fire safety equipment (In Date) if using gas burners.

We can provide fire buckets for the outside of tents.

Gas bottles, Hoses and regulators must be checked prior to arrival.

Please follow our current carbon monoxide advice from posters all over the campsite.

⛔️ Can the owner of this vehicle please move it. Get in touch via messenger please.
It is parked on private property and the site is not a public campsite as we have safeguarding policies in place to protect our guests.
I am on the campsite and my car is clearly marked as the warden but you never announced yourself.

These matters will be addressed with strict confidence.

Please note the Warden and staff who give 40/50hrs per week to the campsite are not paid. They do it for the love of Scouting and Ennerdale Scout Centre.

We aim to give all our users the best experience possible in a clean and safe environment with strict cleaning practices and safeguarding policies.
