THE GREAT BRITISH BEACH CLEAN WEEK! 🫡

Cleethorpes beach is ours to enjoy, let’s work together to keep it clean! 💙

From 18th–27th September, we’ll be hosting daily litter picks from the Resort Hub, opposite the Pier, and everyone is welcome to join us!

Whether you’re coming along on your own, bringing the kids, getting a group together or simply have 30 minutes to spare — every piece of litter collected makes a difference!

🧤 Pickers, gloves & bags provided
📍 Meet at the Resort Safety Hub, opposite the Pier
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages welcome
🗓️ Daily sessions throughout the week

We will be joined throughout the week by some local litter picking legends such as The Canoe River Cleaner, Frank Sparkes - North Wall Cleaner and PickWalks so why not come along too, get involved and help us make Cleethorpes cleaner, together! 💙💛

You may have noticed our team working today on the main beach beyond the protected SSSI area, with saltmarsh spreading onto the main beach, the team have been removing some of the growth to help maintain the open sandy beach our visitors enjoy! 🏖

The work was carried out entirely by hand (and pitch fork!), helping to minimise disturbance to the surrounding habitat and wildlife! This is an on-going job but for today, done! 🫡

If you're visiting Cleethorpes beach, you'll see the Resort Safety Team out and about throughout the day. We're here to provide advice, first aid, and assistance to help everyone enjoy the coast safely! 🫡

Please remember:

⚠️Sandbanks may look safe but can quickly become cut off by the incoming tide.
⚠️Mud can be deep and dangerous – avoid walking through muddy areas and keep to firm sand where possible.
⚠️Always be aware of the tide times and don't wait until the last minute to head back towards the promenade.
⚠️Keep children within sight at all times, especially near the water.

If you have any questions, need assistance, or require first aid, please dont hesitate to speak to a member of the Resort Safety Team! Have a safe and enjoyable summer at Cleethorpes! 😎
