We were recently visited by Hetty from Forest of Bowland National Landscape , who came along to tell us about all the wonderful resources available for exploring the Forest of Bowland and the beautiful surrounding area.

As we’re lucky enough to be situated right on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, it’s something we’re always keen to encourage our guests to explore during their stay. From scenic walks and hidden gems to local attractions and places to visit, there’s so much to discover on our doorstep.

The Discover Bowland app is a brilliant resource for guests, packed with walking routes and lots of useful information to help you make the most of your time exploring this beautiful corner of Lancashire.

Hetty also kindly left us a selection of leaflets, which we’ve stocked in the huts for guests to browse at their leisure, perfect for planning a day of exploring, finding a new walking route or simply discovering somewhere you might not otherwise have come across.
