Sitting in landscaped gardens immediately above Mill Beck, the self-catering apartments are tastefully designed and furnished, offering an exceptional standard of accommodation for walking and family holidays. The apartments all enjoy the same stunning views of Haystacks and the Buttermere Round (Red Pike, High Stile and High Crag). They are south facing so

capture much of the day´s sunshine through the large windows in the living area - which either lead onto your private patio area or balcony. The apartments, recently refurbished, have well proportioned kitchens that are equipped with most modern day appliances. Each apartment has electric central heating, direct dial telephone, Televisions with Freesat and DVD player. There is ample space for storage of your belongings and for the parking of cars. Guests are kindly requested not to smoke in the apartments.

You can head out on the fells for some serious hiking, or enjoy the short circular route around the lake, or even just have a quick bimble to see the waterfall. 💦

Whatever you’re feeling up to, there’s a walk for you on our doorstep. 🌿
Just ask for some suggestions - we know all the best places 😉

And there’s no better reward after a good walk in the fresh lakes air than a hearty, home-cooked meal. We don’t take reservations in the bar, just turn up and we’ll find you a table. We serve food all day so no need to stress about making it back in time.
