As you can imagine, we don’t get much time during the summer to go on holiday - but we do tend to go away as much as we can over winter! One of our favourite places to go is a little place in France, called Morzine. It’s absolutely beautiful with plenty of places to ski🎿⛷️

The whole point to that is we had an idea to bring a little bit of our winter holiday, to your summer holiday💚 And so, earlier this year, we brought home this gorgeous alpine water trough, all the way from Morzine, 900 miles away😳

So far, it’s an absolute hit! You all love it as much as we do!🤩 We just ask you continue to be gentle with it, and watch your little ones around it, as they seem to like using it as a bath🤣

Hands down our most time consuming job on the campsite is cutting and maintaining our grass! This field takes on average 45minutes to cut, and it’s half the size of our other fields! So when we ask you to raise your firepit, or put your BBQ on a stand, we aren’t doing it to be difficult - once our grass is burned, we have to replant seed, and grow the grass back again😭

We hire firepits on site which are raised off the ground - we know they singe the grass, but once it’s been mowed a few times, these patches disappear!

Firstly, THANK YOU! To everyone who chose to spend their bank holiday weekend with us in the sunshine — we’re so incredibly grateful. Supporting a small business like ours, truly means everything to us, and every visit, booking and kind word makes a real difference🏕️🐮

We know we don’t always get everything perfect, but we’re always striving to improve and give you the best experience possible. This weekend was one of the busiest we’ve ever had, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without your support — so thank you for being part of such a special weekend for us.
