The nights are properly dark and cold now, so if you want a spooky weekend on the hill this is the place 👻

Camping and campervans are still welcome 🏕️🚐 Free hot showers and a drying room for wet gear, so you are not putting soggy kit back on after a ride through the fog.

Prefer to be warm while the ghosts wander about? The glamping pods and shepherd’s huts are fully heated 🔥 Private hot showers and a private kitchen for glamping guests. Perfect for a brew while the peacocks and alpacas do their evening rounds 🦚🦙

No children under 16, no dogs. Bikers, hikers, cars and campervans all fine.

Wet kit is miserable. That is what the drying room is for 🧥😃

Camping and campervan guests get free hot showers 🚿 and a proper drying room, so the gear can dry out overnight.

Cold morning, warm hut, alpaca at the gate. That’s the autumn version of Avona 😁

The peacocks are still strutting about like they pay the bills, and the ducks wander through whenever they feel like it.
Pods and shepherd’s huts are fully heated. Bedding is there, towels you bring yourself. Free WiFi, kettle, toaster, and a facilities building with showers, toilets, ovens, hobs and fridge-freezers.
No under 16s, no dogs. However you turn up is fine.

Calling all bikers!! 🏍️

We have put a route together from Avona Escapes that takes in some of the best roads on our doorstep.
Start with the Cat & Fiddle out of Macclesfield, a quick run through Buxton as you head towards Monyash, then on to Matlock and Matlock Bath. Back through Leek and you are home to the campsite at Congleton.
84.1 miles. About 2 hours 45 minutes of proper riding.

Park the bike next to the tent when you get back. Free hot showers, drying room for wet gear, charging lockers, and a firepit if you want one. £10 per person per night. Pods and shepherd’s huts if you would rather be warm.
Just outside Congleton, CW12 3QG. Hikers, cars and campervans welcome too, but this one is for the bikes 😃
