After all your messages, emails and pleas… WE’RE IN! 🤣
I am officially back in planning mode and YES, we’re going to make a Fourth Wing-inspired weekend happen!!

And I’d LOVE your help with a few ideas!

We’re keeping the same vibe as our sold-out ACOTAR-inspired weekends, with lots of book chats, crafting, themed activities, laughter, new friendships and plenty of time to relax with fellow book lovers. ❤️

BUT… there’s one part of the weekend I keep changing my mind about!

⚔️ BASGIATH WAR COLLEGE TRAINING! 🐉

We all know Basgiath isn’t exactly known for its relaxing activities! 😂 I’d love to bring a little taste of that military training academy into our weekend.

But don’t panic! I’m NOT planning a boot camp! Nobody’s getting dragged out of bed at 6am to do press-ups. That’s definitely not my idea of fun! 🤣

I’m thinking something adventurous, a little challenging, perhaps some squad competitions and plenty of laughs!

So… what would YOU love to do?

⚔️ Combat training? Martial arts or weapons skills, learning moves and combinations, perhaps a little friendly sparring?

🧗 The Gauntlet? A Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course with climbing walls and challenges?

🏹 Archery? Target practice and friendly squad competition?

💦 A proper adventure? Gorge walking, scrambling up waterfalls or treetop zip wires?

Or something completely different I haven’t thought of?

Remember, this is just ONE part of the weekend! There’ll still be plenty of crafting, bookish activities, social time and lots of other exciting things planned.

We’re still in the early planning stages, so don’t start frantically checking your emails for booking links just yet! 😂

For now, I want to hear ALL your ideas!

✨ Finally… my Fantasy Soap Collection is ONLINE! ✨

It’s taken me a little longer than planned, but I’ve finally got there! 😆

Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who’s been patiently waiting while I’ve been figuring out how to set up the shop and get everything listed on our website. It’s definitely been a learning curve!

I’m so excited to finally share my handmade soap collection with you, inspired by the different courts of ACOTAR! 🌙

I’ve spent so many hours creating these little bars, really pushing myself to try new techniques and designs. Every tiny shell, flower, leaf and little detail has been individually made from soap, and I’m so pleased with how they’ve turned out!

One of the things I love most is that no two bars are ever exactly the same! Every single soap is handmade, with its own little differences, making each one completely unique.

I think they make such lovely, unusual gifts for anyone who’s book obsessed, or simply loves something a little different. And there’s something extra special about giving a gift that’s been handmade with so much love and care. ❤️

You can mix and match your favourite soaps to create your own gift set, choosing exactly what you’d like. With Christmas just around the corner, they’re definitely worth a little look!

I know quite a few of you have been waiting for these, so I’m sorry it’s taken me so long!

Just one little reminder… I’ve only made a handful of each design, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Now that I’ve finally emerged from my soap-making rabbit hole 😆 I’d absolutely love to hear what you think! Please let me know your thoughts, I’d really appreciate your feedback after all the time I’ve spent working on these.

After much deliberation and family discussions we have decided to keep and name the boys, meet:

Mr Frodo & Sam Wise

They are still getting used to us after being feral but little Sam absolutely loves a fuss and Frodo takes a bit more persuasion unless there is food involved 🤪

The chickens have got used to them now after lots of panicked squawks and the alpacas have decided they are not a threat so they are settling in nicely 😍

☀️ Introducing Summer Court! 🌊

I have had SO much fun making these, although I can’t quite believe it’s taken me an entire day to make just SIX bars of soap! 😂

Inspired by the Summer Court, I wanted to capture those beautiful turquoise waters, sandy beaches, little seashells and starfish.

Every tiny shell has been handmade from soap, and each bar has been individually poured and layered to create its own little piece of the ocean. No two are quite the same!

The fragrance is a gorgeous blend of creamy coconut, delicate jasmine and warm amber - soft, summery and luxurious.

They’ve definitely been a labour of love, but I’ve absolutely loved creating them! 💙

There are only six available in this little batch, and each one is completely unique.

I’ll get these little beauties uploaded to the website tomorrow so they’ll be available to buy, but for now we’re off out to celebrate our son’s birthday! 🎂🥳

A little something we’ve been working on behind the scenes… 🦙❤️

We’re so excited to finally share that our handmade alpaca hats and soaps are now available on our website!

For those of you who have met Pablo, Pedro and Chico, you’ll know just how special our boys are to us. Every year, their beautiful fleece is carefully collected when they’re sheared, and we’ve been working with a lovely local knitter here in North Wales to turn it into something really special.

Each hat is completely unique and one of a kind, lovingly hand-knitted using 100% natural alpaca fleece, with no dyes or artificial colours. We absolutely love the beautiful natural shades, textures and different designs, and we hope you love them as much as we do!

We’ve also added our handmade soaps, including our fantasy-inspired collection, and there’s plenty more to come!

We’re still busy adding alpaca socks, cuddly alpaca teddies and more handmade goodies, with some lovely gift sets planned in time for Christmas. And of course, there are lots more soaps in the making too!

It’s been so lovely bringing all of this together, and we can’t wait to share more with you.

What an absolutely magical evening we had on Saturday! 🦇💫

Our very first Romantasy Book Night, and what a night it was! From beautiful Starfall paintings and bookish conversations to themed cocktails, laughter and a little bit of Night Court magic! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the evening so special. It was so lovely meeting you all, chatting about our favourite books and seeing everyone having such a fantastic time! 🥰

And a big thank you to Emma and Claire for being part of it too! ❤️

We loved every minute of it and honestly can’t wait to do it all again!

I’m doing a little bit of juggling behind the scenes to see if I can squeeze a few more of you into our Romantasy Weekends!

The accommodation for our 2nd–4th July weekend is now pretty much full, BUT I potentially have a few extra spaces for anyone happy to bring their own tent or campervan.

I know a few of you have previously said you’d happily bring your own tent if it meant you could come, so if you’re one of those people, comment below or send me a message! ⛺️

I may also be able to squeeze a tent or two into the June weekends, but I’ll look at those separately once I know exactly where I’m up to.

The second happened because the first sold out and so many of you missed out. Then that one sold out in nine minutes, so I somehow found myself agreeing to a third. 😂 I’m honestly just trying to squeeze as many of you in as I realistically can.

But three weekends is my limit for A Court Beyond the Mountains. I’m not secretly sitting on weekend number four ready to spring it on you! 😂

I may look at one-night midweek Romantasy escapes in the future, or possibly a completely different theme later in the year, but for now these are the three.
