When I first decided to run The Old Dairy as an Airbnb, I really wanted it to feel like a home away from home. Somewhere people could come and feel instantly at home. I often found myself that kitchens in holiday homes would have the barest minimum of utensils and it wasn’t always easy to self cater. So when I receive such heart warming reviews as this from my lovely guests it really makes my day. Their break has been everything I hoped it would be and what more could you ask for as a host? 🩷🩷

Very e voting news - our village pup has had a complete refurb and they are now looking for experienced landlords to take it on. I can’t wait to be able to tell guests our lovely village pub is open for business again. Just a short stroll from The Old Dairy. Doesn’t it look beautiful? Imagine costing up in front of a roaring fire and enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple on a crisp winter’s evening.

We often recommend the Admiral Nelson to guests, it’s a beautiful setting and great food. Booking always advised.

“I believe what makes us stand out is both our gorgeous location and our relationships with our customers and our co-workers”

Love cars, motorbikes and all things motorsport? 🏁

The Old Dairy is perfectly placed for a weekend packed with engines, adrenaline and automotive history. We’re just 35 minutes from the world-famous Silverstone Circuit, 30 minutes from the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, and around 45 minutes from the National Motorcycle Museum at Solihull.

And if the roar of a drag racer is more your thing, Santa Pod Raceway is less than an hour away — the perfect place to experience the noise, speed and excitement of the drag strip.

Whether you’re here for race day, a museum visit, a motorcycle adventure or simply a weekend immersed in all things automotive, The Old Dairy makes a great base for your getaway.

Bare Hill Lakes
Something a bit different for a Monday morning! This week a friend and I went swimming at Bare Hill Lakes. A glorious open water swimming venue in the Northamptonshire countryside, less than 15 minutes from The Old Dairy. This was my first go at open water swimming (apart from the sea) and I can highly recommend it. It is well supervised and organised and you certainly feel invigorated afterwards. Give it a go!!

Today was a bit different - my 2 year old ISH out at his second ever show and being almost perfectly behaved. He also really enjoys meeting guests staying at the Old Dairy as he adores attention.

The babies are all still with mumma duck on our ever decreasing pond. The village pond has pretty much dried up but ours has just enough for them to swim.

Somewhere a bit different for the Midlands - Bubbenhall Lavender Farm - only 20 minutes from the cottage. A touch of Provence right here in Warwickshire. It has a small cafe and a shop selling lavender based goods, all made from their lavender.

Clever mama duck! On our pond this morning. I thought she was quacking for food but then I saw the 3 brand new babies which weren’t there yesterday. 🥰
