🌍⚡ A new Roam charging location, launched just in time for World EV Day!

We are pleased to officially launch our new EV chargers at David Lloyd Clubs Beaconsfield today, with the Roam team on site offering free charging sessions and helping members and guests get familiar with the new chargers.

Members and guests can now take advantage of our fast and rapid chargers on site, catering for different dwell times. Whether it’s a longer workout, time to relax in the Spa Retreat, or simply dropping in for lunch with friends, you can charge while you enjoy the club.

Through our partnership with David Lloyd Clubs, members can also claim a free Roam Membership, giving them even better value on their charging sessions across the Roam network. ⚡

From launch, to a Top 10 charging location! ⚡⭐

Over a year ago now, we launched our Roam EV charging site at Holiday Inn Corby, with a mix of rapid and fast charging to support hotel guests, visitors and drivers passing through.

Fast forward to this summer, and the site has featured in not one, but two of Paua’s Top 10 lists - ranking among the most popular charging locations by number of sessions, as well as the locations delivering the most kWh. 👏

A great milestone for the site and another brilliant example of EV charging being used where drivers need it.

⚡ Another strong month for EV adoption in the UK.

The latest SMMT figures show that battery electric vehicles accounted for 27.5% of all new car registrations in July, up 44.5% compared to the same month last year. 📈

For us, the interesting part isn't just the sales figures. It's what they mean.

Last week, we welcomed our valued clients and partners back to The Warwickshire for another fantastic Roam Golf Day - and what a day it turned out to be! ⛳️☀️

The highlight? One of our own, David Herbert, Head of Partnerships, hit a hole in one! Everybody out on the course could hear those incredible celebrations... and he hasn't stopped talking about it since. 😄

A huge thank you to The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club, part of our valued partner The Club Company, for hosting us once again and looking after everyone so well. As always, the course was in fantastic condition and the staff were brilliant throughout the day.

And of course, another big thank you to Silverhand Estate for providing some incredible prizes for our winners. 🏆

⛳️ The annual Roam Golf Day is officially underway at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club!

It was such a fantastic day here last year that we just had to come back. This time however, we are playing the flagship Earls course.

We're being treated to an absolutely beautiful day in 33°C heat! It's been brilliant so far catching up with our valued clients and partners, strengthening relationships, and enjoying some time out on the course together. 🏌️‍♂️☀️

A huge thank you to Silverhand Estate for providing some incredible prizes for the day. We'll find out later who takes them home! 🏆
