Located in the picturesque town of Criccieth, The Caerwylan is a beautifully restored Victorian landmark. We’ve thoughtfully rebuilt the hotel to offer 24 stylish, individually designed en-suite rooms, along with newly renovated public spaces, all facing south. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the main beach, Tremadog Bay, and the historic Criccieth Castle ruins. From our unique vantage point, we’re proud to offer some of the best seaside views on the Llyn Peninsula. Michael and Frances look forward to welcoming you to The Caerwylan.

Planning a festive get-together, but worried about catering for different dietary requirements?

Don’t let dietary restrictions stop anyone from joining the celebrations!

If you have any other restrictions, please get in touch to see if we can cater for you!

So whether it’s a Christmas catch-up with friends, a family gathering or the annual work party, everyone can enjoy the festivities together.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HOUSEKEEPING TEAM MEMBER

Our season is staying busy, so we’re looking for another friendly and reliable person to join our housekeeping team at the Caerwylan Hotel.

We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, who works well as part of a team and takes pride in making our rooms look their best.

The role is mornings, with around 5–6 mornings a week while we’re busy, reducing to around 2–4 mornings during our quieter months.

Previous experience is great, but not essential – reliability, a good work ethic and a friendly attitude are most important.

Includes weekends and bank holidays.

Shifts start at 8.30/9.00 until approximately 12.00 - 2.00pm depending on how busy we are.

COME AND JOIN OUR KITCHEN TEAM AT THE CAERWYLAN HOTEL

We’re looking for a chef to join our small kitchen team at The Caerwylan Hotel in Criccieth.

We’re a seasonal hotel and restaurant, and while the height of our summer season is now almost behind us, there’s still plenty going on. We have a good few weeks of our main season left before we move into autumn and then onto our Christmas parties and festive season.

We like to run our kitchen a little differently. We work hard, stay organised and get through busy services together – without the shouting, egos and chaos that can sometimes come with kitchen life.

The role will include a mixture of breakfast shifts, morning prep and evening services, working alongside our existing chefs to keep everything running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who can cook, stay organised when things get busy and take pride in what they send out. You’ll need to be reliable, work well as part of a small team and be happy to get stuck into all aspects of the kitchen.

Live-in accommodation is available if required, so we’re also happy to hear from chefs looking to relocate to the area.

If you’re looking for a chef role where you can enjoy cooking, be part of a close-knit team and leave the unnecessary kitchen drama behind, we’d love to hear from you.

Interested? Send your CV and a little bit about yourself to [email protected]

COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM – KITCHEN PORTER

We’re looking for someone to join our kitchen team at The Caerwylan Hotel & Tonnau Restaurant in Criccieth.

We have a Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash position available for a couple of days a week, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts and hours.

We can be flexible, to a point, with which days you work, but the role will involve split shifts and working into the evening. Because of the hours involved, this position is not suitable for anyone still at school.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Keeping on top of the washing up throughout service
* Putting clean equipment, crockery and utensils away
* Cleaning down the kitchen
* Completing daily kitchen cleaning jobs
* Helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly

We’re equally happy to hear from someone who simply wants to come in, get stuck into the pot wash and keep the kitchen running smoothly. However, if you’d like to expand your role and learn more there will also be the opportunity to work alongside our chefs, helping with food preparation and desserts. This can give you the chance to pick up more hours and develop your kitchen skills.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck in as part of a busy kitchen team.
