Tudor Cule Scout Campsite is located in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park, nestled in the Coed Ynys-faen woodlands, in the shadow of Crug Hywel (Table Mountain) on the bank of the Grwyne Fawr river near the village of Llangenny, Powys, Wales. By arrangement with the warden, campers may empty their portable loos into the cesspit on site. All rubbish that is not suitable to be burnt on a cam

pfire should be bagged and taken away at departure. Located a 3/4 mile walk from Llangenny village along the riverbank path. In the village, you will find a church, a telephone box and a public house serving meals. To the North are the Black Mountains, the Grwyne Fawr reservoir, the Dragons back and Waun Fach are worth a visit. To the East are Crickhowell, Llangattock Escarpment, Talybont and Ponsticill reservoirs and the mighty Pen y Fan. To the South is the Clydach Gorge and to the West, we have traffic-free access to the Sugarloaf (Pen-y-Fal) mountain. Tudor Cule has been a Scout campsite since 1969 when Mr Tudor Cule for whom the site is named, purchased the Coed Ynys-faen woodland with funds raised by local Scouts.
