bust than the Bell Tents we had in 2015 and are also insulated, which means they will keep the warmth in and cold out,” Ruth says. The Mongolian Yurts have an oak door and the canvas walls surround the wooden lattice, which leads up to a window looking up to the stars. These Monoglian Yurts are in two sizes; the five meter yurt will sleep six people and the six meter yurt will sleep eight. Each will be fitted with all your creature comforts, guaranteed to make your stay a home-away-from-home. Each yurt has a double bed with a proper mattress and duvet – none of your cheap lilos here – as well as bunk beds, a wood burning stove so you can snuggle up and hunker down, low wattage 240-volt electricity courtesy of solar panels (to charge phones and stay in touch with the real world) and each has its own undercover cooking and eating area with gas hobs and, new for 2016, each area will have own charcoal BBQ, if you fancy making your own sizzling sausages or burnt burgers. All yurts are fully kitted out with everything for your stay, you will need to bring towels, slippers and your swimming kit, to enjoy the free onsite pool. The washing up facilities provided include hot running water, but neither washing up liquid, dish-cloths nor tea towels are provided, so please remember to pack these. Tucked behind the pool, the yurts have their own washing up area, fire pits, hammocks, as well as benefiting from the short walk through our private woodland path to the award winning Cromer beach. “We have taken onboard the fantastic feedback from last year and have invested in an additional toilet and shower block to compliment the current toilets and showers attached to the indoor heated swimming pool,” Ruth continued. Many of our guests enjoyed booking the whole glamping site for a few days with friends or family. The site can hold up to 26 people in its five yurts. To make your stay that bit easier and we can provide a variety of hampers, which can be pre-booked including cheese and w**e, barbeque or breakfast. Of course, all the facilities of The Grove are also available to our intrepid Glampers, so you can book one of our superb breakfasts, come in for dinner, swim in the pool then head back to your yurt for a cosy night’s sleep in ready-made-up beds; getting back to nature in style. Glamping is the perfect solution for those families or couples wanting to add a little something different to their stay with us here at The Grove. We are sorry, but we do not accept stag or hen nights. It is also a pet free site.
