Feast Night is on for June. And it's all about the burger. 🍔

Join us on Saturday 27 June for a brilliant evening at Fordmore, celebrating the kind of food that brings people together. Think proper burgers made with the best local ingredients – especially our own Longhorn beef - good drinks, and even better company.

Whether you're making it a date night, a family evening or a catch-up with friends - Feast Night is one of those evenings you'll want to have booked.

Choose to eat in or takeaway or head up to our outside play area and enjoy the early evening sun. Secure your table or book your takeaway slot – email [email protected] or call 01884 824898.

I’ve just been over to check the pool and was stopped in my tracks by the flower bed on the swimming pool patio.

We created this two years ago from the remains of a raised deck and I planted it with plants from The Old Well Garden Centre at Waterloo Cross near Uffculme.

It is looking gorgeous this morning. A day for the sun loungers I reckon. For the cottage guests anyway. I shall be sorting plant pots in the greenhouse for the plant pot amnesty at The Old Well this weekend. I have so many to get rid of!!

I found it for the first time yesterday and was so excited to be featured along with our dogs! So if you’d like a little light listening for your weekend here is the episode set right here in the Blackdown Hills …

We’re travelling to The Blackdown Hills to learn about an 18th-century smuggling case.
