We would like to whole heartedly congratulate Luke on winning our Employee of the month award for August at the Mount Pleasant Inn! 🎉🎉👏👏

Luke joined our kitchen team as a kitchen Porter in in 2024 and has risen through the kitchen ranks, learning daily and showing a willingness and dedication beyond his years.

At just 17 years old Luke has gained valuable experience as part of our culinary team, adding huge value himself. ✅

He will be continuing his journey with us over the next couple of years alongside completing professional qualifications within Exeter colleges food programme.🍕🍗🍒🍒🍣

We are delighted to have Luke's positivity and work ethic around the place, it’s a real pleasure to work with someone so young with such a passion for his trade.

As always this award is voted for by our team members and reflects the work the individual has put in consistently over a period of time. 🗳

Big congratulations to our joint Employee of the Month winners for July - Victoria and Aimee🤗

Both these young lady's joined our Front of House team for the summer and have been simply excellent since day one, displaying confidence and a superb work ethic alongside superb customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile for our guests. 🤗😀

This attitude and skillset has been noticed by our guests with gushing reports daily finding our leadership teams ears and additionally our team members who voted for both of them almost unanimously! 🤩🤩😎

Good afternoon,

On Sunday the 9th of August we will not have our Sunday Carvery on as usual, we will be doing plated roast dinners between 12.00-3.30pm instead.

This due to the fact we have a wedding reception on the same day and our carvery room will be occupied throughout the afternoon.

This means we will only have two of our restaurant sections open during the day so make sure you book early to ensure we have a table available.

On Tuesday the 28th of July our restaurant will be closed for evening service as the venue has been booked out exclusively.

Huge congratulations to Taya who has now won our employee of the month completion for the second month running! 🤗

This is quite an achievement as she is our youngest team member but shows an incredible level of maturity on a daily basis here at the Mount Pleasant and always goes the extra mile with our guests and in the aid of other team members. 🎉🎊🙌

Hello Quizzers, come and join us Monday nights for our ever popular pub quiz. 📝💯⌛

Hosted by Quiz Master TY Cooper who is well known in the area for hosting quiz nights all along the coast providing questions and fun for all ages and knowledge levels. 😃🌞☺

We have had this running a few months now and have garnered a regular following with teams competing for the top prizes weekly.

In conjunction with the Quiz we also have our £15 Pie and a Pint offer available with a varying selection of pot pies to choose from alongside wine, beers and soft drinks included in the offer! 🍲🍷

There is also a raffle at the halfway point with the current total sitting at £300 for the lucky dipper. 💸💵💰.

We recommend booking in advance as this is usually a busy evening and with Summer upon us we expect this to grow even more. 😎☀️🍺

I think we can all agree summer is here and just in time for our new Summer menu! 🌞🕶☀

With a blend of our popular pub classics alongside fresh seasonal dishes we have created a varied menu to suit all tastes.🌶🍕🌽😃

Our menu is available Monday to Sunday in conjunction with our updated opening times:

Monday - Saturday - Lunch 12.00pm - 2.30pm - Dinner - 5.00pm - 8.30pm
Sunday - Lunch (Including Carvery) 12.00pm - 3.30pm - Dinner 5.00pm - 8.00pm

We would recommend booking as we head into the busy season, this can be done via our online booking system by simply typing in our restaurant name on google and clicking the 'reserve a table' button or through our website.
