✨ From Chicken Shed to Community Hub ✨
Every time we see The Nest Box glowing at night, we have to pinch ourselves.
Just a few years ago, this building was an old chicken shed. Empty, unused and slowly going to waste. Like many old farm buildings across the country, it had served its purpose and its future was uncertain.
Today, it’s the heart of The Mac’s Farm.
Every weekend, hundreds of visitors pass through its doors. It’s a place where local musicians perform, local food businesses thrive, local breweries pour their drinks and families come together to make memories.
What was once a forgotten shed is now buzzing with life.
Diversification isn’t just about creating another income stream. It’s about protecting the future of family farms, preserving buildings with history, supporting local businesses and creating spaces that bring communities together.
We are incredibly proud of what The Nest Box has become. Not because it’s a bar, but because of what it represents. A reminder that with a bit of imagination, hard work and a lot of determination, old farm buildings can have a second chapter in life.
