🌿✨ **Foxglove – Room 1 | Space, serenity & a little indulgence** ✨🌿

Some rooms are made for slowing down… and Foxglove is one of them. 💚

Our beautiful Superior Super King room is one of the largest at Afon Rhaiadr, with triple-aspect windows looking out across the gardens, woodland and our busy little bird feeders. 🌳🐦

After a day exploring the mountains, discovering hidden waterfalls or wandering the beautiful trails of Southern Snowdonia, imagine drawing a warm, soothing bath and letting the world outside fade away. 🛁✨

With its recently refreshed interiors, generous space and peaceful garden views, Foxglove is a lovely place to unwind, recharge and enjoy a little well-deserved luxury.

Because sometimes, the best part of an adventure is coming home to somewhere wonderful. 🤍

🍂 **Fresh air, beautiful scenery and a delicious dinner waiting for you… what more could you want?** 🍽️

One of the lovely things about exploring Southern Snowdonia is that there's always another beautiful walk, another view to admire or another little corner waiting to be discovered. 🌿🥾

But after a day out in the fresh Welsh air, there's something rather special about returning to a warm welcome and sitting down to a hearty, satisfying meal.

From our spicy pork with seasonal vegetables and crispy chips to comforting creamy chicken curry, we love serving food that hits the spot after a day of adventure.

And when the weather turns cooler, there's always something particularly comforting about letting someone else do the cooking! ❤️

So, you can leave the walking boots by the door, settle in and enjoy your evening with us at Afon Rhaiadr.

🫖 **There’s always time for a little afternoon indulgence…** 🍰🌿

Our **Full Afternoon Tea** is one of those lovely treats that’s made for slowing down and enjoying the moment.

There are freshly made sandwiches prepared by Gareth, **Gina’s homemade scones**, and a tempting selection of individual cakes and pastries, made using some of her **family recipes passed down through the generations** — all served with plenty of tea, coffee and good conversation. ❤️

Whether you’ve spent the morning exploring Southern Snowdonia or simply fancy escaping the cooler autumn weather for an afternoon of doing very little, there’s something rather special about settling down with a proper afternoon tea.

And let’s be honest… the hardest decision is usually **which cake to try first!** 😉

🍄✨ A little mushroom magic in the garden… ✨🍄

As autumn begins to settle in at Afon Rhaiadr, we’ve been noticing some wonderful little treasures appearing amongst the grass, moss and woodland floor.

Mushrooms in all shapes, sizes and colours are popping up around the garden — some tiny and delicate, others surprisingly impressive! 🍄🌿

They seem to appear almost overnight, quietly adding their own little touch of woodland magic to the garden.

We never quite know what we’ll discover next… and that’s one of the things we love about this time of year. 🌳🍂

Nature has a way of creating the most beautiful details when you simply slow down and look. 💚

🌶️ **A little bit of spice, a plate full of comfort!** 🍽️

If you’ve spent the day out exploring the beautiful landscapes of Southern Snowdonia, there’s nothing quite like coming back to a hearty dinner.

Our **spicy pork** is packed with flavour, served alongside seasonal vegetables and plenty of golden, crispy chips. 🥔🌿

It’s warming, satisfying and just the sort of food we love serving as the evenings get cooler — with enough of a kick to warm you up from the inside out! 🔥
