As another month has drawn to a close, we are reflecting on No Mow May and the impact this has on our local wildlife🪴🏡

We’ve given our grounds over to nature’s gentle chaos, letting the flowers and grass grow tall and free.

It’s transformed our gardens into a buzzing, fluttering paradise – a true sanctuary for local wildlife and a wonderfully serene escape for our lovely guests.

Throughout June, we will also be following Plantlifes ‘Let it Bloom June’ and will keep you updated on the progress! 🌟

If you’ve been to Home Farm before, you might’ve already met our furry friends at the bottom of the garden! But we thought it was time to properly introduce them and share a bit about what makes them special🌟🐐

We’re super proud of our first photo—we managed to get all 4 goats together! 🙌🏼

First up is Moss, our best-behaved goat (even if he doesn’t look it in the photo!) 😋

Then there’s Ben Nevis, our smallest (and cutest 🥰) goat at Home Farm.

Third, we have Otter, the naughtiest one! He loves his food and striking a pose. 📸 Otter’s always the first to greet new visitors in the garden!

Finally, meet Bee, our nanny goat. She’s a bit shy and hides from the camera 😝, but she’s always watching out for trouble as she is Moss’s mum! They spend a lot of time together 🥰

If you’re visiting this summer, come to the bottom of the garden and say hi. Let us know if you spot any other fun quirks! 🙈🌟

To make our gardens at Home Farm as wildlife friendly as we can, we are keeping the weeds and nettles in our gardens. Not only do they provide beautiful colour, they also benefit bees, butterflies, moths and many other local wildlife 🙌🏼

We also loved words from the astronauts on Artemis in the news “what we really hoped in our soul is that we could, for just a moment, have the world pause and remember that this is a beautiful planet in a very special place in our universe, and we should all cherish what we have been gifted”- this is a reminder of how lucky we are to experience the nature around us 🌻🌍
