After saying “I do”, our newlyweds and their guests had their own private space to relax, celebrate and enjoy the occasion together.

Waiting for them was a drinks package with Peroni, rosé and white w**e, and Ch*****ne on ice, followed by a delicious 9-course tasting menu, freshly prepared and served in the yurt by their own private chef Rose. 🍾🍽️

No busy restaurant. No rushing. Just beautiful food, good w**e and time with the people who matter most. 🤍

✨ Good luck everyone! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who has entered our 6th Birthday Giveaway to win a one-night stay for two at Hawthorn Hideaway 🤍 We’ve loved seeing all your entries and will be choosing one lucky winner tomorrow! 🥂🌿

It’s also a special weekend for Ronnie and me as we’ve now been married 16 years! ❤️ Where has that time gone?!

We haven’t quite managed to celebrate properly yet, as this weekend has been all about Melody and her horse competition 🐴, while making sure everything is running smoothly here at Hawthorn Hideaway.

It’s also been lovely catching up with some of our returning guests this weekend, and tomorrow we’re preparing for a very special intimate wedding breakfast for four. 💍🥂 Rose the chef is going to work her magic with her 9 course tasting menu. 😋

Ronnie and I are planning to sneak away for a romantic few days soon and finally celebrate those 16 years together. 🥰

♥️ Sometimes the smallest gestures mean the most 🤍🌸

A huge thank you to Martin & Carole, a wonderful couple who love to visit Hawthorn Hideaway, for these beautiful flowers to celebrate our 6th birthday. 🥰

I came home after a particularly stressful, non-stop day as the on-call GP. I absolutely love my job, but some days are simply tougher than others.

Today I also received a lovely thank-you card from one of my patients, and then came home to these gorgeous flowers. It really made me stop and smile.

When life feels a little tough, these small acts of kindness really do lighten the load. 🤍

Thank you Martin & Carole for thinking of us, for continuing to return to our little Hideaway, and for such a thoughtful birthday gift. It genuinely meant so much. We can’t wait to see you both again soon. 🥰🌿

And of course… Biscuit had to inspect the flowers too. 😂🐈‍⬛ Nothing happens around here without her involvement!

🤩💗"Stay and chill at the Lodge, take a walk along the canal, be at one with nature. Perfect!

Amazing facilities, beautiful surroundings, absolutely loved staying at Hawthorn Hideaway.

And how can we forget the chickens! Came to vist us and stayed for lunch! Perfect Lodge guests really put the topping on the stay!

Finally, lovely hosts, who have thought of everything to make the stay special!
