🌟 Just had to share this wonderful moment with you! 🌟
A lovely customer called to say that Memory Lane really lives up to its name. She said that as soon as she walked through the door, it felt like stepping back into her childhood — so many memories everywhere in the shop.
One item in particular brought back a flood of memories: a battery-operated train called Silver Mountain. She almost cried remembering that her father got it for her 7th birthday — she’s now 62! Sadly, her original train had stopped working, so she asked us to put it aside for her to buy later, which we happily did.
She’s over the moon with it and plans to treasure it for many years to come. She just wanted to thank us for having such a wonderful shop.
Comments like these are rare, but they certainly made our day. Thank you ❤️

Tonight's unexpected plot twist...

While serving dinner to myself, my partner and the 5 kids, there was a knock at the door. A wonderful potential customer had seen my online gift shop and thought it was a physical shop!

I'll admit, I was completely caught off guard! 🤭

Not wanting to disappoint them, I said I could have their order ready for collection within 30 minutes.

20 minutes later, it was ready. It has just been collected. ✅

Just goes to show that when you run a small business, you never quite know what the next knock at the door will bring!

It has honestly made my day 🫶
