I know I say it a lot but there really is something magical about Woodland Springs. Just when I think I know everything about this little site something “pops up” and proves that it will always have its little secrets and surprises.

Today our maintenance man Dan found these beauties. I honestly didn’t believe him when he told me but sure enough when I went down they were there looking so bright and beautiful.
Unfortunately after a little research we found these are highly toxic so we had to remove them but what an amazing find 😍

It’s that time of year again.

The clocks have Fallen back, the evenings are drawing in and there is a bite in the air that can only mean Winter is well and truly on its way. But before that is Autumn 🍂 My old Queen’s (my Mam 😂) favourite season.

What’s everyone’s favourite season and why?

I’m a summer girl through and through!!

Here’s a few pictures from the last few days of me and Jack personally getting ready for the colder months. As much as I love the summer there is something special about the Colours of Autumn. And that sky 😍

We still have some Availability for Bonfire night.

Perfect for anyone with an anxious Dog or
Fireworks reactive, or even if you just want a quiet night away.

As we are located on Dartmoor National park, Fireworks are prohibited due to the wild stock on the Moors.

While we can’t guarantee neighbouring villages on the outskirts won’t have fireworks we have never heard them from the park yet.
Give us a call to get your pitch booked and we won’t charge for your Dogs through your stay.

It’s official, summer has now said goodbye and I’ve put the heating on in the office 🥶 Anyone else caved yet or just me 😬?

The nights are drawing in but it still amazes me how beautiful woodlands is no matter the time of year or weather!

I’m curious what winter we will have? Anyone predicting snow ❄️ 🤔

Whatever the weather Woodland Springs Touring park is the place to be. Remember we only close in the month of February. See you all soon. 🥰

Unfortunately not one of our nicer posts.

I would have thought this was obvious but clearly not so I’ll put it out there…….

Please please PLEASE don’t take ci******es into our toilet blocks!!!!! And for the love of god DON’T dispose of them in a bin full of paper Towels 🤦‍♀️
Even a put out cigarette can generate enough heat to catch fire and in a bin full of paper in a Wooden block, surrounded by Woodlands?….. well doesn’t take a genius to know it wouldn’t end well.

So going forward we do ask that all ci******es are smoked on your personal pitch and disposed of by yourselves safely and NOT in our bins 🙄

Good Afternoon you lovely lot.

So today I was chatting away to a lovely guest and she referred to her Caravan by a name!!! When I questioned if I had heard right she replied that she had always named all her caravans and motorhomes. So now I’m curious………… How many of you have named your Caravan or Motorhome? And if you don’t mind sharing? What is it and why? 🤔

Let’s not put it off!!! Remember Woodland Springs Touring park is open for 11 months of the year!!!

Yes that’s right we are open from the 1st of March until the 31st of January and only close for the month of February.

So if you haven’t booked an Autumn/ Winter stay with us then get booking!!!!!
