Our Rooms
The hotel offers several superior bedrooms as well as cosy wee doubles, standard doubles and twins – 20 en suite bedrooms in all.

All bedrooms have flat screen television, telephone, Hospitality tray with tea/coffee and Borders Biscuits, hairdryer and ironing facilities. Internet access/WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Our snug lounge bar is traditional with a contemporary twist. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a drink before lunch or dinner. Offering its own menu, the bar serves a selection of homely snacks and hearty plates. There’s also flat screen television to watch those all-important sporting events or just catch up on news of the day. The 1902 Grill is chic and uncluttered – a pleasant space in which to enjoy a delicious meal made from fresh seasonal produce, perhaps complemented with something special from our well-stocked wine cellar. Our chef and his staff have conceived a tempting menu of traditional and local specialities to which can be added our “daily specials”. Booking is advisable to avoid disappointment! The Goldenstones Suite is the perfect venue for weddings and other family celebrations with dining for up to 120 guests. We can also offer an elegant and spacious bridal bedroom, with further accommodation for family and guests in 20 en suite rooms. The suite is also ideal for Christening celebrations, family parties, dinner dances and funeral wakes. It can also accommodate up to 150 for business conferences and training seminars.

🥂💍 **An Intimate Wedding Celebration for Neil & Mark** 💍🥂

A beautiful day filled with love, laughter and special moments as Neil & Mark celebrated their wedding with nine of their closest guests. ❤️

The celebrations began with a ch*****ne welcome, followed by a delicious two-course wedding lunch, before finishing on a sweet note with wedding cake* and a lovely selection of cheeses. 🥂🍰🧀

🎉 **Celebrating Our Team’s Success at the Dunmuir Hotel!** 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to congratulate **two of our team members, Finlay and Alicia, on successfully completing their Apprenticeships SVQ's!** 👏🥂

Both have worked incredibly hard to achieve their qualifications through **Blended Training**, with fantastic support and guidance from Gosha and Lisa. We would like to say a huge thank you to them both for helping our team develop and reach their full potential.

👨‍🍳 **Finlay – Our Future Chef in the Making!**

Finlay started with us as a Kitchen Porter and has since progressed into the kitchen as a Commis Chef. Throughout this journey, he has shown real talent, commitment and ambition. It has been fantastic to see him grow in confidence, develop his skills and demonstrate a real passion for cooking. We are excited to see where his ambition takes him next!

🌟 **Alicia – Continuing to Grow and Achieve!**

Alicia joined us just over six months ago from another hotel, having already started her training. We were delighted to support her in completing her SVQ, and she has continually pushed herself, shown great determination and embraced every opportunity to learn and develop.

Her training has also helped her strengthen her supervisory and management skills, supporting her continued growth and development within the team. A fantastic achievement, Alicia!

**Congratulations to you both – a wonderful accomplishment and something to be incredibly proud of!** 👏

🍂 **Darryl’s Rosette Menu**
If you’re looking for something a little different, this is the side for you. Head Chef Darryl has created a selection of seasonal dishes inspired by autumn, showcasing some of the **finest local and Scottish produce**. There’s plenty to tempt you!

🔥 **Our Grill Favourites**
Prefer the classics? Our Grill side brings together some of your favourite small plates and dishes, including our **famous Ribeye** and, of course, **Fish & Chips**.

And then there’s the really difficult decision… 😋

🍰 **Dessert or Cheese?**

Sometimes it’s the little things that really make your day ❤️

We were absolutely delighted to receive this lovely thank-you card from one of our corporate guests, who stayed with us for the past three nights.

Not only did he leave us two bags of Heroes and Cadbury’s Biscoff (which certainly didn’t last long! 😋), but he also took the time to write such a thoughtful message:

*“A wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of Scotland. You should be really proud of what you have here. Fantastic food, attention to detail throughout the hotel – thank you for a warm welcome. Look forward to my next stay.”*

It genuinely means so much to our whole team to receive feedback like this. We work hard to make sure our guests feel welcome and enjoy their time with us, so knowing that it is appreciated makes it all worthwhile.

🌿 **We’re delighted to have been awarded a Bronze Green Tourism Award!** 🌿

We’re incredibly proud to have taken this step towards making Dunmuir Hotel a more sustainable and environmentally conscious business.

There’s been plenty of work going on behind the scenes, and it’s fantastic to have that effort recognised. From looking at how we use energy and water, to reducing waste and making more responsible choices wherever we can, we’re continually looking at ways we can improve.
