The last weekend in the Taybank Gardens 🍂

It's that time of year again, when we close our gardens for the season and move indoors for the colder months. This weekend is your last chance to enjoy a pizza by the river or a mulled c***r around the fire pit before we pack everything away for winter.

Our garden bar will be open from 12–9pm, with the kitchen serving food until 8pm. No bookings needed, just wrap up warm and come along! If you fancy making a day of it, the final of the year is taking place on Saturday from 11am–3pm, just a lovely autumn walk along the river.

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get a chance to enjoy the beautiful autumn colours. 🍁

Wild Game & Wh**ky Dinner 🦌🥃

Join us on Tuesday 17th November for a special evening celebrating the height of the Scottish game season, bringing together local wild game, produce from our walled garden and wh**ky from our neighbours at Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery

November is one of our favourite times of year in the restaurant. The nights are drawing in, the fire is lit and our kitchen turns towards the deeper, richer flavours of the season.

Ahead of the dinner, our kitchen team will spend a day on the hill at a local estate, with the day’s shoot helping to shape a special four-course menu. Dewars will be keeping us warm with fireside cocktails and drams, and wh**ky woven into the menu along the way.

£65 per person - including a welcome cocktail by the fire, four-course dinner and a dram to finish.

Happy Sunday 🍂 Due to high winds, the Taybank Gardens will sadly be closed today. We’ll be open as usual inside for Sunday lunch, dinner and drinks (booking advised). braan sauna sessions will also run as normal. Our sister pub The Birnam Hotel will be serving hot and cold drinks, pies & sides - walk-ins only! 🥾

We’ve all heard of the Hermitage, and while it’s especially beautiful at this time of year, there’s so much more to explore around Dunkeld and Birnam. 🍂

With the Hermitage always drawing the biggest crowds, we thought we’d share a few of our other favourite autumn walks. Quiet forests, riverside paths, lush glens and craggy hilltops, all looking particularly lovely as the colours turn.

Most of these walks are easily accessible from the village train station and bus stops, so you can leave the car at home and make a day of it. And what better way to finish an autumn walk than with a well-earned pint by the fire here at The Taybank or at our sister pub . 🍻

It’s day two of Harvest Festival 🍂

Today in the gardens we’ll be joined by The Toy Shed for face painting and a pumpkin hunt, while our kitchen and bar will be serving up more harvest hot dogs and mulled c***r.

Later, we’ll have live music from Captain Caban’s Caballeros to round off the weekend.
