As hospitality employers for over 26 years we have nurtured and supported lots of students and school leavers in our time. Often their first employers, we teach life skills as well as trying to teach how to be the perfect employee 😜😳!! Sadly, few choose the hospitality path ahead despite our efforts.

However, many stay friends as they move on from us and venture out in to the 🌍 and we love watching them flourish.

Local girl Kirsten’s’ story is one these ⬆️. A few years back now, while working with us during her studies, we watched as her interest in a career in the 👮developed. William helped her plot areas of London and encouraged her in her application for the Met and we were delighted when she was excepted.

So being at her wedding👰 this week to fellow 👮 Midhun, and meeting so many of their wonderful colleagues who had made the journey to Berwick from London was an honour, great fun 💃🏼 and a joy to see 🤩.

We love getting to know our guests but sometimes it reaches another level 🥰

What a wonderful ten days with our resident Blackadder, Elizabeth causing all sorts of mystery & magical mischief around our Blackadder Lands and in the Allanton Inn 🙌🏼🧚 💫 🌈 😍

Like an episode of Traitors there have been spiritual traditions, atmospheric tunes, healing energies, portals, folklore learning and forest mythology.

Departing today on a beautiful sunrise and a new moon 🌑 taking her fathers’ Stars and Stripes 🇺🇸 back home, she has left quite an impression on us, the village and our team 🧜‍♀️ and we miss her already 🥰.
