This October, we are welcoming guests to Yarn Market Hotel for our Heritage Craft Escape, four days of creativity, good company and a little time to slow down in the heart of Dunster.

From 19th to 23rd October, you can discover three beautiful traditional crafts: quilling, bookbinding and passementerie, all with guidance from experienced tutors.

Your stay includes four nights dinner, bed and breakfast, light lunches, tuition and basic materials.

There is something about a good walk that clears the head.

Time outdoors, fresh air, conversation, quiet moments and simply putting one foot in front of the other can make such a difference to our sense of wellbeing. Our walking breaks are not about rushing to the finish. They are about enjoying Exmoor, slowing down and giving yourself proper time away from everyday routines.

Our next walking break is getting close.

From 18 to 21 September, we will be heading out on the Coleridge Way, covering around 37 miles across four days, with plenty of beautiful Exmoor scenery along the way.

There is something rather special about stepping inside an old village church and discovering the stories held within its walls.

From 18th to 20th September, join us for Sacred Somerset, a weekend exploring some of the beautiful historic churches of West Somerset, with guided visits, local history and plenty of time to enjoy the area.

Your stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, lunches, transport to the churches and guided visits throughout the weekend. We will also visit Minehead RNLI Station, before finishing on Sunday with a traditional roast lunch.

The price is £290 per person, with double, twin and single rooms available.

If you enjoy history, heritage, beautiful buildings and discovering places you might otherwise pass by, this could be a lovely way to spend a September weekend in Somerset.

We’re delighted to be currently hosting one of our collaborative walking breaks with Wilkes Walks.

These breaks are about much more than accommodation. We work closely with our partners to help create a smooth, well-organised experience for walkers, supporting with meals, local logistics and everything needed to make Dunster a comfortable base for exploring Exmoor.
