So this week we've seen lots of Airbnb hosts complaining about the new rulings about how guests are expected to leave the property.
We generally have lovely guests who treat the place with respect.

Basically the new rules are...
No Heavy Chores: Hosts can no longer force guests to perform tasks normally handled by a cleaner—such as stripping bedsheets, washing and putting away dishes, or taking rubbish off-site.

Now my problem isn't with the rules, it's with the fact that some hosts have forced guests to undertake this in the first place! It's a lovely gesture if beds are stripped and dishes are put away but we certainly don't expect you to do it. As for rubbish as long as its in a bin I don't see the issue either.

We pride ourselves on our 100% cleaning record and we allow 5hrs between guests which is ample to deal with most turnarounds....
Simply if the place cannot be organised in that amount of time then the guests who checked out won't get back in 🤷‍♀️

Now let's just get back to doing what we do..being hospitable! If it's simply about getting the most money for the least amount of work then you aren't in the right industry. We're here for you to enjoy your break; thankyou to the hundreds of customers we have served over the last 13 years ❤️🩷🧡
