Just 20 minutes from us!

Some of the big OTA's such as Airbnb appear to be flexing their muscles a bit at the moment, making it harder and harder for hosts and small businesses like us.

Whilst they are great for getting exposure and have security measures in place, did you know that many of these platforms take a fee of, on average 15% from us hosts? Costs that we have no choice but to pass onto guests as it just can't be totally absorbed. We have ourselves just returned from a lovely break in Yorkshire (Kesters Country Lodges highly recommend!) and found the sites own website rather than pay an agency.

So, the moral of the tale is BOOK DIRECT! many sites like ours will have their own website and booking software and this will be beneficial to both hosts and guests with more competitive prices as we are not making the big dogs even richer!

Our website is www.huntscourthuts.co.uk
