Chalk Farm Hotel - Learning Disabilities Centre - EAPAG Our aim is to give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to receive training and employment within a realistic working hotel setting.

We pride ourselves with providing a high quality and supportive learning environment. Chalk Farm LDC (Learning Disabilities Centre) is run by the local charity E.A.P.A.G. (Eastbourne Area Parents Action Group) and is a registered charity and an accredited training centre, based at a fully functional hotel.

This week we are highlighting Learning Disabilities Week which is an annual campaign that raises awareness of learning disabilities in the UK. Radio DGH is proud to help promote a greater awareness of Learning Disabilities Week, and as part of this we will be welcoming local organisations to the our studios to talk about the wonderful local work that they provide to members of our community.

This morning from 10am we welcome the team from Chalk Farm Hotel to highlight the work they do within the local community.

A HUGE thank you to everyone that attended our summer fayre today. We had such an amazing day.
Although our chocolate tombola sold out within the first hour, we still had our big raffle, tombola, wine game, cupcakes and more! DJ JJ was as great as always getting the crowd involved and playing everyone’s requests.
We also want to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers who ran stalls today - we couldn’t have done it without you!

So close to £2,000 but still an amazing total! Thank you 💚

Our Summer fayre ☀️ is this Sunday!

We have some amazing raffle prizes up for grabs. Our big raffle will be live on the day, £2 a ticket or 5 for £5.

A huge thank you to everyone that has donated prizes. All money raised from the raffle will be going straight back into the charity.

This week our students have been out and about learning new skills in the community!
We’ve been to pick up raffle prizes, completed the banking and shopped for the summer fayre too.
All of these tasks not only help our students to improve their social and communication skills, it helps with their independent living skills as well.

Both staff and students are really enjoying this new project within our Charity.

Also a big thank you to Tesco in Hampden Park for the raffle prize!
