Isabel and Brendan chose the magnificent surroundings of Archerfield House, East Lothian for their ceremony. The house looked spectacular and the ceremony room was bedecked with beautiful floral arrangements but nothing outshone Isabel and Brendan.

"We just wanted to send a quick email to thank you so very much for all of your efforts with our ceremony. Our families absolutely loved it, we had so many people telling us that it felt so personal and like they knew our relationship so much better after. You’re incredibly talented at what you do, and we couldn’t be happier, thanks again."

The best part of being a celebrant is getting to meet so many wonderful young couples on one of the most important days in their lives... and being the one who has the privilege of announcing the Mr & Mrs. Claire and Matt had a lovely intimate ceremony at the Hoebridge Restaurant, Gattonside. An absolutely fantastic venue for a small family wedding. I was sorry I had to leave. The food looked spectacular. Best wishes to all x

Nicole and Nicholas wanted their wedding to be relaxed and not too formal. The Village Hotel in Edinburgh was the ideal location and they created a lovely ceremony that included beautiful personal promises and a traditional handfasting. They are a lovely couple and I wish them all the very best for the future. x

Lauren and Justin flew over from the USA for their intimate family wedding at the wonderful Dalhousie Castle. With some family members unable to make the trip they were able to webcast the ceremony to those back in Brazil and the USA. I may have mispronounced some of the shout outs to those back home but I hope they all felt a part of a very happy and loving ceremony. They are special people and deserve all the good things that come their way.

Broxmouth Courtyard, East Lothian, was the perfect venue for Emily and Scott's wedding. It felt extra special to have been asked to conduct their ceremony as I've known her dad for more years than I care to remember. Scott may have been a little nervous on the day but those nerves soon disappeared as he saw his stunning bride walking down the aisle. A lovely easy-going couple who are mad about each other. Have a great married life. x

"We are just back from our honeymoon and have had lots of time to look back at the wedding and reflect on what a perfect day it was. It was lovely that Kari and Andrew chose the Garvock House Hotel for their wedding. They met there as youngsters and their families have celebrated many important occasions at the hotel BUT none as important as their wedding. There families, friends and the team at Garvock created such a warm, emotional and LOUD atmosphere... and I was delighted to announce them Mr & Mrs. x

I can’t believe how many people were laughing, crying and even some heckling during the ceremony. It was perfect and everything that Andrew and I wanted it to be. Dalmahoy Hotel & County Club was the spectacular venue for the wedding of Katie and Ali. It was a truly international wedding with many guests flying in from around the world to a warm Scottish welcome. A very special day for Katie and Ali and their wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen. The pics capture just how happy Lee and John were after their wedding at the spectacular Ghillie Dhu in the centre of Edinburgh. I snapped these just as they were heading out to the red carpet for their confetti shot. Such a lovely couple and just a wonderful wedding to have been a part of. Best wishes for a long and happy marriage.

It's hard to top the magnificent splendour of Hopetoun House for a wedding and that was where Anna and Rory were lucky enough to get married. They created a lovely ceremony that included a symbolic candle lighting and a very apt poem "the art of a good marriage". That's exactly what they have and I wish them all the best for the future. x

It was another gorgeous summer day when Rebecca and Robbie tied the knot at the Norton House Hotel on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Maybe just a tad too hot to be wearing two layers of wool ! Despite the heat Rebecca and Robbie were completely chilled and it was a pleasure to announce them Mr & Mrs. Best wishes x
