Lyneal Trust have just installed a brand new cooker in their Wharf Cottage next to the Llangollen Canal near Ellesmere.
This modern cooker is to replace a previous model that has served us well for some years but it was time to retire it.

The UK is set to be hit by two storms over the next few days, so we just wanted to remind you all to take whatever precautions necessary to stay safe when on the water.

Gusts of wind will widely reach 60-70mph, creating the danger of collapsed trees blocking your route. There's also the chance of localised flooding in some particularly at-risk areas.

Please only move your boat if it is safe to do so, make sure your boat is securely moored, and consider tying down or bringing in any items on your roof or decks.
