It has 11 double bedrooms, 70 cover restaurant, and a lovely bar. The core of this business is cooking with fresh locally produced food sourced mainly from our local farmers, suppliers and producers. All meals are made on site by our Head Chef Dave and his Sous Chef Jane

Our inspiring Head Chef is looking for a number two to join them. If you are already a chef de partie or sous chef they are keen to find an ambitious individual with experience and creativity using local fresh produce. Additionally, must have great culinary skills as well as kitchen managerial abilities. Ability to work alone during quiet periods as well as part of a team.

Your role:
•Work effectively to control stock and food GP, and identify opportunities to maximise profitability alongside the head chef.
•Responsible for food production ensuring that food is prepared to an exemplary standard.
•To work along side the head chef ensuring food hygiene standards fully adhered to.
•Be fully trained and aware of how food is stored, rotated and disposed of and monitoring adherence to standards.
•Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed by checking Food Safety and Health & Safety daily and Business Due Diligence on a weekly basis
•Assist head chef with completion of daily and weekly stock checks and ensure that all invoices are accounted for.

•The ability to deliver to excellent standards
