🍂 Autumn is on its way at Hatters Meadows… but summer isn’t over yet!

As we head towards the changing seasons, we are delighted to say that campfires are allowed again! The recent rainfall means the ground is no longer parched, so you can enjoy those lovely evenings around the firepit once more.

📆 Our Timber Tents and Touring pitches are open until 3rd November, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a countryside escape as the seasons change.

The first hints of autumn are beginning to appear, evenings slowly drawing in and the meadow starting to take on warmer tones. Keep an eye out for barn owls gliding across the meadow at dusk and goldfinches dancing through the hedgerows 🦉✨

There is still plenty of summer to enjoy, but if you are looking ahead to those crisp autumn adventures, now is the perfect time to plan your stay.

✨ What a lovely Bank Holiday we’ve had at Hatters Meadows 😍

Despite a few very heavy downpours, it has been wonderful to see happy campers enjoying the campsite with wide open skies, cosy evenings and plenty of time spent enjoying the great outdoors 💚

You might have noticed the evenings getting darker a little earlier already, 👀 So as we start to gently glance towards autumn, there is one thing we are particularly looking forward to: those gorgeous Hatters Meadows sunsets!! 🌅

This beautiful customer photo of our Glamping accommodation is proof that there is something rather special about an evening at Hatters Meadows.
The best bit? You don’t have to pack away the camping gear just yet!

👉 Touring Pitches & Timber Tents are open until 3rd November 2026.
👉 Our Queen of Hearts Glamping Cabin stays open right through until January 2027 (see on the left of this photo). It’s perfect for a cosy countryside escape as the seasons change.

This is what a stay at Hatters Meadows looks like from a camper’s point of view 🫶 Slow mornings, open skies, wildlife all around, fresh air and nowhere you need to be.

📍Just outside Ely, tucked away in the Fenland countryside, we think Hatters Meadows is the perfect place to pitch up, switch off and enjoy the simple things.

🍕 Great news from Hatters Meadows!

We are delighted to share that Hatters Meadows has recently been inspected and received the top food hygiene standard.

The inspection confirmed that our food hygiene standards are excellent and we are fully compliant with the law. A huge thank you to our fantastic team for their continued hard work in maintaining such high standards 🤩

And there is more good news… our Hatters Meadows Pizza Evenings are continuing throughout August!

Join us every Friday and Saturday night throughout August for delicious pizza and a great evening at Hatters Meadows.

🌿 Another lovely review! 🌿
We loved having these three families stay with us together and it is so lovely to hear how much they enjoyed their time at Hatters Meadows!

‘Very well organised, clean and welcoming. We loved being surrounded by all the wild areas. So much wildlife and overall a lovely place to enjoy a Pimms or an ice cream.’

They also mentioned how they would love to see our campsite when it’s not experiencing such dry conditions. We couldn’t agree more! This year has been exceptionally dry across the Fens and much of England, so we are desperately looking forward to seeing our wild spaces bounce back when the rain finally arrives 🌧️🌱
