Over the last 4 years we have been green and cream.. it's stood us well ...
. so naturally it's time to move on...

Over the next the month you will see us giving the front of the pub a bit of a refresh.

But what colour or colours will it be...?

We are making a little change to our house beers...

to show our dedication to cask ale, we are making Sprocker (made for us by Inishmacsaint) cask and bottle only from the next batch.
It's very well loved and when its on cask you go crazy for it- so this will now be a dedicated line which will have Sprocker on all the time!

Paxton (made for us by Rough Brothers Handmade BEER will be keg and bottle only as of its next batch AND even bigger news Paxton will be Gluten Free!!
So there you have it- you can still enjoy these beers and have them to take home and now those that are gluten sensitive can join in as well!

All round winners!

For those visiting our Outpost Festival on August 15th- there will be a special edition of each for the day!

*washing my van

*teaching you how to reverse a trailer

If you haven't been before- it's a great chance to experience a proper beer festival atmosphere with food, music and great beers. The festival allows us to showcase brewers and beers we have championed throughout the entire time The Dog & Duck Inn has been open and some new ones for the year ahead!

We are putting together our beer list at the moment and the glassware is being ordered.

Your ticket price as always includes your souvenir glass and your first half pint- changes to this years festival include adding a few more lagers as requested for the sunny weather!

For all of you that thought there was no hope of any review of the current alcohol licensing in Northern Ireland - SURPRISE- looks like the powers that be have changed their minds!

Apparently 'time is running out' (on the consultation that no one knew about)- so have you say by clicking on the link attached.

Great to see the results of this consultation (that cost DfC £478k) being put to use.

One of our lovely patrons brought this to our attention!
