One of the things we love about this review is *why* Swift Cottage worked so well for this family 🤍

With a bedroom and en-suite downstairs, their father-in-law, who finds stairs difficult, could stay comfortably too. There’s also a second en-suite bedroom upstairs, giving everyone their own space.

And when you’re ready to venture out? There’s the shared indoor pool and games room on site, with plenty to see and do around South Devon just a short drive away.

But we’ll leave the final word to our guest: “Very comfortable, ideal for a family of 4… There’s a lot to do within short distances. Great communication from the owner. I would definitely recommend a stay here.”

Once the summer rush begins to fade, Devon takes on a different feel 🍂 Quieter beaches, peaceful walks, pretty towns with a little more room to wander – and still plenty of lovely days to make the most of.

October and November are wonderful months for exploring South Devon; whether it’s a day on Dartmoor, a stroll along the coast or simply finding somewhere good for lunch and watching the world go by.

And at the end of the day, there’s Swift Cottage to come home to 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, left a lovely review, recommended Swift Cottage or returned for another Devon holiday: it really does mean such a lot.

🥾 Some of the best days in Devon aren't spent at the most famous attractions. They're spent discovering a hidden gem of a café, on a riverside walk, or at a country pub you've never heard of before.

🏡 Swift Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring both the well-known highlights and the hidden gems that make Devon so special.
