🌟 **FEEDBACK FRIDAY!** 🌟

Another lovely 5-star review from one of our recent guests staying at **Tor Cottage!** 🏡

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Beautiful place in very peaceful location, very responsive host. Enjoyed the swimming pool and the fishing lakes, great location. Accommodation was clean, fresh and very comfortable."

Carol also left us some wonderful private feedback, praising the beautifully maintained grounds and gorgeous gardens, with flowers still blooming in October! 🌸🌿

It's always fantastic to hear that our guests have enjoyed not just the accommodation, but everything the surrounding park has to offer.

A huge thank you to Carol for her kind words and to our hardworking housekeeping and maintenance teams for keeping our properties looking their best! 👏

🌟 **FEEDBACK FRIDAY!** 🌟

Another fantastic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review from one of our lovely guests at **Centre Point Studio in Exeter!** 🏡

We're delighted to hear such positive feedback about the apartment's cleanliness, convenient location and, most importantly, the friendly and responsive service provided by our team.

💬 *"The hosts were exceptionally fast at responding to my messages and any queries that I had, as well as being super friendly."*

At **Short Stays UK**, we believe great hospitality is about more than just providing a lovely place to stay. It's about being there when our guests need us and making every stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

A huge thank you to Aishah for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review! ❤️

🏡 What separates a GOOD property management company from a GREAT one?

It's not just about filling properties during the busy summer months. It's about **maximising rental income all year round!** 💪

We've just secured a fantastic **5-month corporate booking** for contractors working on a major construction project in Exeter until the end of February 2027.

💰 **£58,500 total booking value**

📅 **£11,700 monthly revenue**

🏡 **4 properties booked**

🔑 **5 months of secured income**

As you can imagine, our four property owners are absolutely delighted!

With strong rental income secured throughout the traditionally quieter months, the timing couldn't be better. The contractors leave ahead of Easter, just in time for the busy 2027 spring and summer season ! ☀️

**This is what great property management is all about.**

Having the experience, contacts and ability to secure bookings **12 months of the year**, not just during peak season.

📣 **ARE YOU MAXIMISING YOUR PROPERTY'S POTENTIAL?**

Whether you're a landlord looking to increase your returns or a holiday let owner struggling to fill winter dates, **we'd love to hear from you!**

📩 **Get in touch with Short Stays UK** and discover how we can help your property work harder for you.

⭐ **Sometimes a 4-star review can mean just as much as a 5-star one!** ⭐

Of course, we love receiving our usual ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews, but we’re actually **even more proud of this one** 🙌 because it demonstrates something incredibly important about how we manage our holiday homes. 🏡

During this stay, an unexpected issue arose with a fire alarm battery. 🔥🚨🔋 It wasn’t something that could have been predicted , these things occasionally happen.

But what matters is **how you deal with them when they do.** 💪

Thanks to our fantastic and trusted maintenance team 🔧🛠️, we were able to respond quickly ⚡, get someone to the property and rectify the problem with minimal disruption to our guests. 👏😊

The private feedback summed it up perfectly:

“The issue was dealt with as quick as it could be. So appreciate all involved who resolved the issue.” ❤️

You simply *can’t prevent every problem* when managing holiday accommodation.

🏡 What you can do is make sure you have the **right people, systems and experience** in place to deal with them quickly when they arise.

For us, **that’s what good property management is really about.** 💙🏡👏

✨ It’s the little touches that make a stay special… ✨

During our latest changeover at Beechlands, our beautiful luxury Dartmoor home, the arriving guests had arranged for a large supermarket delivery to arrive before they did.

Rather than leave everything waiting for them, we decided to go that little bit further. Our team unpacked the shopping, put everything away and made sure the fridge was stocked and ready for their arrival. 🛒🥂🍊

They were absolutely delighted — and even left us this lovely handwritten note:

“Thank you so much for bringing in our shopping – it arrived earlier than it should have. We hope this is an easy turn around for you.”

For us, managing a holiday home is about much more than cleaning and handing over the keys. It’s about looking after the guests, looking after the property and doing those little extras whenever we can. ❤️🏡

Fancy a stay at Beechlands and experiencing this stunning Dartmoor home for yourself?

❤️ Sometimes, it’s the little things that matter the most.

A family recently stayed with us here at Short Stays UK, and after heading home they realised their little boy had accidentally left someone very important behind… his much-loved giraffe! 🦒

As you can imagine, the little chap was absolutely beside himself.

Thankfully, our team found Giraffe safe and sound, and he’s now been carefully packaged up and is making his way home. 📦🦒

His mum and I have agreed on the official story: Giraffe hasn’t been lost at all , he’s simply been on a little adventure of his own! And when he gets home very soon, we’re sure he’ll have plenty to tell his little owner about. ❤️

His mum even included a SAE and a lovely note thanking us for keeping him safe.

We manage properties, bookings, cleaning, maintenance and all the usual things that come with running holiday accommodation… but these are the important things.

Safe travels, Giraffe. Your little best mate is waiting for you. 🦒❤️

Absolutely love finding little notes like this after a guest checks out! ❤️

This was left for us in one of our **high-end, modern Exeter City Centre apartments**, and it really does make all the hard work worthwhile:

**“Thank you very much, there was everything we needed for a good stay 😊”**

Sometimes the simplest feedback says it all.

We put a huge amount of effort into making sure our apartments are clean, comfortable, well equipped and ready for our guests to simply arrive, settle in and enjoy Exeter.

King of the World... or maybe just King of the Laundry Pile! 😂👑🧺

As you can imagine, it's peak season and our busiest time of the year, so it's all hands to the pump here at Short Stays UK! 💪🏡

We've had 57 reservations across the SSUK portfolio in the past week 🤯, which means plenty of changeovers, laundry bags, and teamwork! 🛏️🧺🚗

My lovely lad has been getting stuck in this weekend and will be working with us throughout the summer holidays. It's a great way to earn some pocket money , learn the value of hard work 💪, and spend some quality time together.

You've been a massive help already, and it's been great having you alongside us. Proud of you Son! ❤️

✨ Sometimes it's not just about the stay... it's about what happens afterwards.

We're incredibly grateful for this wonderful 5⭐ review from a recent guest:

💬 "Stayed the weekend in Exeter. Easy to get around with a car. Cute cafes nearby. Very comfortable stay. I accidentally left my handbag there and Short Stays UK were very efficient to message me and send it back to me."

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay, but what makes us especially proud is that our team could help reunite you with your handbag quickly and hassle-free.

At Short Stays UK, we know it's the little things that leave a lasting impression. Whether it's providing a comfortable place to stay or going the extra mile when something unexpected happens, we're always here to help.
