🍳 WE’RE HIRING: SEASONAL CAMP COOK / CHEF 🌊

📅 May – end of July 2027
📍 Redrock Outdoor, Exmouth

We’re looking for a Cook / Chef to join our fantastic team for the 2027 school residential season.

If you enjoy cooking good, straightforward food, working as part of a team and being part of something a little different, we’d love to hear from you!

You’ll be helping provide breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals for the school groups visiting our outdoor adventure centre.

👨‍🍳 What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a kitchen or catering environment
• Confident preparing and cooking food for large groups
• Good organisation and time management
• Positive, practical attitude
• Pride in producing tasty, nutritious food
• Good food hygiene and allergen awareness
• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene
• Other catering qualifications desirable but not essential

🍽️ The role includes:

• Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and evening meals
• Food preparation and kitchen organisation
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Stock management and reducing food waste
• Catering for dietary requirements and allergies
• Working alongside our wider camp team

Fancy spending your season working outdoors, getting people on the water, delivering adventures and being part of a busy residential activity centre?

Redrock Outdoor in Exmouth is recruiting Multi-Activity Instructors to join our 2027 team.

Our instructors work across a wide variety of activities, including:

🛶 Kayaking & Paddleboarding
🌊 Watersports & Beach Activities
🏹 Archery & Archery Tag
🪓 Axe Throwing
🔥 Bushcraft & Survival Skills
🤝 Team Challenges
…and plenty more.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable people who enjoy working with children and young people, can work well as part of a team and aren't afraid to get stuck in.

A true residential centre role

As well as instructing activities, members of our team will also be expected to help with the day-to-day running of the centre.

This will include rota-based kitchen and dining duties, such as basic food preparation, meal service, washing up, cleaning down and helping keep our catering operation running smoothly.

This isn't a kitchen position, but these duties will form part of the wider instructor role. We believe a great residential centre works best when everyone contributes and supports each other.

Previous outdoor industry experience and activity qualifications are an advantage, but attitude, personality and a willingness to learn are equally important.

🏕️ On-site accommodation may be available for a limited number of positions.
