Grace you have been the most beautiful, elegant and gracious queen! Thankyou for providing our community with the biggest smiles and kindest at each and every event. You and Your Court have done the town proud.

As a town we are so lucky to have the experience of this community event each and every year as a running tradition. Thankyou to everyone involved who work had behind the scenes to ensure the tradition of the herring queen continues.

Today marks a very special milestone for us – 14 years since our renovation was completed and we proudly opened our doors to welcome our very first guests

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you, we have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, from loyal returning guests who have become friends to first-time visitors discovering us for the very first time. Every booking, recommendation, kind review, and friendly conversation has helped make our guesthouse what it is today not forgetting our amazing housekeeping team that keep things running behind the scenes.

Here's to celebrating 14 amazing years and to many more to come. We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces through our doors for years ahead.

Join us for our full menu, with plenty of delicious options to enjoy throughout the day.

Please bear with us during our first few days — opening times may change slightly as we find our feet. It’s all a bit of trial and error to start with!
