Thursday afternoon at North Cadboll House proved to be disappointing with some showers so I did housework instead and actually put out some stuff for recycling.

Friday morning has begun dry and bright with passing showers and a very mild 15C. If I can't get out into the gardens this afternoon then I will probably do some more housework but I don't intend to make a habit of it. :) Dust is good for the soul :) :) :)

Other than a short shower, Wednesday afternoon at North Cadboll House was warm, dry and sunny. I pruned the bushes which kept whacking me in the face when entering the orchard. Hopefully in due course they will enable me to prune and shape them into a nice arch.

Now it is Thursday morning and the day has begun warm 14C, dry and sunny. if it remains dry it will be manual grass cutting for a short time this afternoon with my motorised zimmer frame with a lawnmower attached to the front of it. :)

Tuesday afternoon proved to be lovely and warm. My task was to remove nettles, flowering ground elder and sticky w***y all growing among the shrubs in the courtyard and then dig out brambles spreading in one of the car port spaces. Relatively successful as my stinging arms demonstrated last night. I am so used to nettles I even sometimes pull them out without gloves on when I forget :).

Wednesday morning at North Cadboll House and it is a mild 14C, overcast with a heavy rain shower.

Monday afternoon proved to be warm, dry and sunny at North Cadboll House so with Margaret at the lowest setting I can safely use, all the big lawns were cut.

Now it is Tuesday morning and we have a dry, cloudy and mild 12C start to the day. If it remains dry I may try and cut some of the overgrown bushes in the afternoon.

Sunday afternoon developed into a warm and sunny one so I was able to get out into the gardens for a couple of hours and recharge my vitamin D levels.

Monday morning at North Cadboll House has begun dry, mild 12C and cloudy. Two roe deer were bouncing through the barley field. On the other side of the gardens, a roe seer stag was bellowing his head off in the field adjacent to the west lawn. He is clearly looking for a mate.

Yesterday we had rain at the wrong time so no gardening. If it is sunny mid afternoon, by then I am too tired to think about starting work in the garden.

Now it is Sunday morning and at North Cadboll House the day has begun overcast, feeling cool at 11C because of the strong breeze and with fine, light rain, not what I hoped for so maybe another day not in the gardens.

Against expectation, Friday afternoon remained dry long enough to enable me to spend some time in the gardens.

Saturday morning has begun dry, feeling cooler than 12C in the strong breeze and overcast. We are expecting rain so I think it will be a day for indoors.

No gardening yesterday thanks to showers at the wrong time.

Muffty and I were out at 03.40 so it meant I was able to watch the second half of the South Korea v Czech match. From what I heard, all the action was in the second half anyway.

Friday morning at North Cadboll House began dry and cloudy but now it is dry, bright and sunny with patches of blue sky replacing the grey clouds. It feels pleasant in the breeze at 12C. I so hope it remains dry so I can get out into the gardens in the afternoon.

After such a promising start to the day yesterday, mid morning we had hailstones and then later some heavy downpours so no gardening as I daren't catch a chill again getting my feet wet.

After overnight rain, Thursday morning at North Cadboll House began dry, overcast and a cool 7C. It is now 12C and not very promising as more heavy rain showers predicted for later today.

Yesterday it rained at exactly the wrong time so by the time it stopped and everything dried out it was mid afternoon and the urge to go out into the gardens had gone.

Wednesday morning at North Cadboll House has begun a coolish 7C but dry, bright and sunny with clear blue sky. If it remains dry, hopefully I can get out into the gardens at lunchtime.
