There’s a few different walks you can take from No.2 that go past The Bull Inn, depending on how long you want to walk for.

It serves food (bookings only), has a wide variety of drinks (including non-alcoholic options), a beer garden and is dog friendly.

Nothing complicated, just a good, traditional English Pub.

Heinz approves (and will try for a lick of Guinness if he thinks he can get away with it!!)

Heinz enjoyed a lovely walk through some of the little villages and lanes near us this evening (with a cheeky pint in a nearby pub on the way home!)

It’s good to be able to let him off his lead and have a run about.

Our beautiful Shepherd's Hut is available this weekend, for anyone looking for a last-minute escape from reality.

There's lots going on in the local area this weekend, so its a great time to visit- Rick Astley and Madness are playing at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the Yorkshire Puffin Festival is on down the road in Flamborough, and within walking distance, Filey's fabulous food festival is on this weekend.

You would of course have to drag yourself away from the sumptuous hot tub and magical garden to enjoy all of that...

“Who says you can’t have a romantic break with 3 dogs?
You absolutely can at No.2 Staycations.
We stay many “dog-friendly” places, many turn out to be “dog tolerant”, but you are truly “dog welcoming.”
Heidi and Doug have thought of everything. When we arrived in daylight, we were truly wowed, but night time is something else. It’s absolutely stunning.
Thank you for all the tips on where to visit with the dogs. We will 100% recommend. Thank you for allowing us to make some magical memories.”

New in the Shepherd’s Hut this year is a lovely gas fired BBQ… so a few days ago we decided to give it a whirl! 🍗

The verdict?

Heinz definitely approved- it goes without saying, there wasn’t any leftovers! 😂
