Rental includes, towels and linen, Wi fi and Netflix, and use of the swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym. Number 88 is available to rent throughout the year. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, downstairs toilet and L- shaped living area with fully fitted kitchen. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two single beds. The double bedroom has a TV. The bathroom has a large airing cupboard whi

ch stores an iron, ironing board, clothes airier, travel cot, cordless vacuum and high chair. A hair dryer is also provided. Downstairs off the hall is an under stairs cupboard which stores a variety of beach equipment including a beach trolley, tent, ground sheet and wind break.. The comfortable L shaped living area includes sofa, armchair, TV, books and games, dining table and benches and kitchen area. The kitchen area is fully equipped with quality cutlery and crockery etc. There is a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob and microwave. The cottage has gas central heating. Outside is a patio with table and chairs, a brick built BBQ and access to a courtyard with outdoor table tennis. Rental includes all utilities, wireless internet, Netflix, towels (not beach towels) and bedding, access to the pool, sauna and steam room, gym and tennis courts. On site there is a pharmacy, pub, shop and café plus a beauty salon. We are dog friendly and allow up to two dogs. Please e mail me for availability and prices.

Vintage cars are set to thunder across a Yorkshire beach as Race the Waves returns to Bridlington 🏁 🚗

Bridlington is gearing up for one of the most unusual weekends on the Yorkshire coast, as vintage cars and motorcycles prepare to race across the sands of South Beach.

Race the Waves returns from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, recreating the golden age when Yorkshire’s beaches were used for early speed trials and land speed record attempts.

The main attraction will see an impressive collection of vintage European and American cars and motorcycles racing along a 200-yard course carved into the tidal sands, with cars going head-to-head and groups of bikes roaring away from the start line.

And there’s plenty more happening away from the racing.

The Yorkshire Bus Bar will provide refreshments from a converted vintage bus beside Bridlington Spa.

Elsewhere, there will be classic car and motorbike displays from Bridlington Lions, an RNLI hot rod display, food and drink stalls and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The racing begins at around 11am on Saturday 12 September and 12 noon on Sunday 13 September, with timings dependent on tides and beach conditions.

Before that, race vehicles will gather in Bridlington Old Town on Friday, giving visitors the chance to see the machines up close and meet some of the competitors.

And if roaring engines aren’t enough, the Great Bridlington Steampunk Weekend will also be taking place inside the Royal Hall at Bridlington Spa, with entertainment, workshops, traders and plenty of spectacular costumes.

Race the Waves is free to attend, although some additional attractions are ticketed separately.

As you may be aware, we’ve made the decision to fully close Bondville for the autumn/winter months, from October through to March.

And actually… we’re really excited about it! 🥰

This break is going to give us something we rarely get during the busy season — time. Time to make improvements, work on new ideas, tackle some of those jobs we’ve been desperate to get stuck into and make Bondville even better ready for March 2027.

Running a seasonal, outdoor attraction comes with its challenges, and we have to make sensible decisions that protect everything we’ve worked so hard to build. Having a winter closure means we can keep Bondville viable, sustainable and here for many years to come — and we know wholeheartedly that it’s the right decision for us. 💚

But please don’t think we’re disappearing for six months… you won’t get rid of us that easily! 😂

We’ll still be right here on social media. We’ll be going live, taking you behind the scenes, sharing what we’re working on, showing you our plans and probably asking for your opinions along the way! There’s lots we want to do, and we’d love you to be part of the journey.

Then, come March… we will be back with a bang! 💥🏡

For now, we’re still OPEN WEDNESDAY–SUNDAY throughout September, so there’s plenty of time to squeeze in another trip to Bondville before our winter hibernation.
