Peaceful & relaxing CL and Holiday Cottage ADULTS ONLY set on the outskirts of the Lincolnshire Wolds

01/11/2026

We know when it’s the end of the season! As this beautiful tree shines bright red leaves 🍁.

A MASSIVE thank you to all our customers old and new who chose us to stay with this year.

It’s always sad when we close the caravan site down for the season but it’s been a great one and we now shall take the time to recharge, revive and enjoy getting things ready again for next years guests!

Don’t forget The Stables, our one bedroom cottage is available all year round.

A massive thank you to the 2 Lynn’s, Bob and Stuart for the Salvia they bought for us when they stayed in August in memory of Keith. Finally we’ve planted it now the weather is more kind!

Just watched the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain Men’s Cycle race pass straight in front of the site! Amazing community spirit and great opportunity to witness.

Meet Bill and Ben!!! 🌺 🪴

What a lovely surprise we have had this afternoon when a returning guest turned up with not only their caravan in tow but these beautiful planters for us. We have popped them in our shelter area, we shall look forward to buying some plants 🪴 to pop in the specially designed pots.

A massive thank you to Joe and Sue Shardelow for making them and kindly donating to us here at The Old Wheelwrights Retreat, Firsby, Lincolnshire.
