After months of building, tasting, and bringing this beautiful new space to life, our team is officially ready to welcome you down to the Tenby Esplanade (right beneath the Atlantic Hotel).
Starting this week, we are opening for The Introduction—an exclusive, first-look preview phase before our official grand opening later this month.
For us, a spectacular night out is about more than just what's on the plate. It's about how you feel the second you walk through the door. We have designed Chapters to be a place of fun, incredible energy, and memories worth telling stories about.
How we’re running things this week:
🐟 A Fluid Menu: The food is playful, inventive, and shifts with the Pembrokeshire season. We keep our descriptions minimal on purpose—this is a menu meant to be experienced, not just read on a phone.
🍷 Brought to Life: Our front-of-house team will guide you through the story behind every single plate, cocktail, and pour right at your table.
🛋 A Space for Everyone: Whether you're a local joining us for a mid-week drink or visiting Tenby on holiday, we want Chapters to be the best part of your week.

The end of an era.

It was hard to pick our favourite photos to show the journey of JT’s at the abergwaun over the past five years but here’s a few.

We are super proud of everything we have achieved, the team we built and the lessons learned through hard work are all worth it.

From the buzz of a Saturday night service to the socials and celebrations of friends & families that we have hosted, it’s been an absolute pleasure to provide a place and experience to be cherished. We hope you all have fond memories.

Update;

Maxen power has continued to ignore communications, today there was no answer.
When checking online-their comoany has posted they are “Permanently closed” 🙏🏻

It has been incredibly difficult to deal with them and make any progress…Let’s hope this perm closure from them is true and not more fake avoidance tactics.
We hope the national grid will reinstall a metre quickly and our team can get back creating, cooking and celebrating with you all when we reopen our doors 🥳🤩🙏🏻

Update; To anyone making judgements on the situation/dispute we are having with Maxen Power over our electricity supply- please firstly have a look at the recent reviews about their company and how they operate. We are lucky to have secured legal advice months ago and with the support of two incredible companies to handle litigation and all communications with them we are finally getting somewhere with the change of supply-the delay tactics are shocking but we will get a resolution soon.
I have attached some of maxen powers recent reviews below!

Refund Update;

£7584 has been refunded to guests today from our online booking system and I have been assured all moneys will be received within 2-3 business Days. Again i apologise for any inconvenience caused as we navigate this show of force from the nightmare electricity supply company Maxen Power.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused this weekend.
Update; Positive moves have been made to finally change electricity supply. We have had endless disputes and recieved and paid excessive charges for well over a year. In january we took legal advice and accepted help from purely energy to settle the issues. As a final show of force Maxen power (current electricity suppliers 👎🏼) removed their electricity supply box from our property. Within hours following this they finally accepted communication with the appropriate support business we have requested to act on our behalf. Today more progress has been made. We are hopeful to get this all rectified as quickly as possible.

In regards to all the other rumours 🤣🙄🤦🏻‍♂️🫡

We will be closed for 2-3 weeks whilst we complete an electricity supply changeover.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused!
My concerns at present are primarily in supporting my staff as this was unexpected. We will be looking to host events over the next couple of weeks to keep us all busy and your tastebuds satisfied.
