⛰️Mungrisedale Common⛰️

🚘 40 mins drive from us
🅿️ park at Grainsgill Beck Bridge in Mosedale
Very small car parking area but dont worry….i would be surprised if its ever full!!
💦 maybe do it in summer…..you can probably cross the river much easier
🌿 hard going over the moss ridden fell side
😭 definitely cant recommend it as a nice day out
💼 its another in the bag though if youre ticking them off
🔄 cab be done as part of the mungrisedale round if you have more time (id recommend summer
👟 id also recommend dry shoes and socks for the way home 😬
🤫 its a quiet route if you don’t like the popular busy fells (no one else must like it either 😂)

🚘 just a 10 minute drive from us
🅿️ plenty pay & display or street parking
🚶‍♀️ nice little walk along the river cocker
🪴 walk through the memorial gardens
💦 along the river
🐑 and along the public footpath in the fields
☀️ fab picnic areas for the summer months

🌒 Carlisle cathedral today 🌙

🚘 40 minutes from us
🅿️ either street pakring or pay & display car parks
🌑 we went to see the moon
☕️ then sampled the cathedral cafe of course!
👋 unfortunately the moon is moving on in a couple of days but you can still have a look around the cathedral and tullie house is right next door as well which is also worth a visit

🎃 pumpkin picking for us today
🛝 great wooden indoor play area & fab soft play for kids (and adults) of all ages
🐴 animal barn
🛝 lots of play area outside as well
🏖️outdoor sand pit area
🍽️ really nice cafe
🤗 great day for everyone

🅿️ small, free parking area by Longlands Bridge
🚶‍♀️ just less than 5 miles again
🔃 can also be done as a much longer Uldale circular route

😢 Last day of the school holidays

We went to cockermouth

🚘 10 mins from us
🅿️ We parked near Harris Park which is free for a couple of hours (need a parking disc)
🛝 went to the play area
💪 the outdoor gym
💦 had a paddle in the river
🚶‍♀️ and a walk along the river

Now back to some sort of routine maybe 🤔
