“We couldn’t have been happier with Lisa from Drawn by Light and the photographs she took of our wedding. From the first conversations we had right through to receiving our gallery Lisa made it all seamless.

The pictures are honestly amazing, Lisa managed to capture the day perfectly and captured way more than we could have imagined. Looking back through the pictures, its like reliving the big day again!

Everyone still talks about how amazing you were! We have walked away with a new family member and we will forever be grateful for the images you have captured during our special day!

Thank you again…love Mr & Mrs Pourzand xx”

Autumn weddings at Woodlands just hit a little differently 🍂

Ellie & Owen’s day was everything a cosy, intimate wedding should be.

There’s something lovely about the house at this time of year. The golden light, the cosy corners and that feeling of everyone coming together to celebrate. While Woodlands makes a beautiful backdrop in every season, autumn brings its own kind of magic.

Ellie & Owen, your day was a dream.

Because the best memories are even better when the whole family is there… paws and all 🐾

Whether you're saying 'I do' or escaping for a little countryside retreat, our Yorkshire country house is a place where your four-legged friends can be part of the experience, too.

With allocated dog-friendly bedrooms available, you can bring your favourite walking companion along for the stay, enjoy the surroundings and make memories together.

There’s something special about a Yorkshire morning at Woodlands 🌿

As the sun rises over the gardens and the day begins to unfold, our team are already behind the scenes, preparing the house, tending to the grounds and making sure every detail is just right for the day ahead.

A little glimpse of the quieter moments that make Woodlands.

Layers of beautiful blooms, considered styling and the Orangery looking every bit the part 💐

This floral-filled setting is a lovely example of how thoughtful details can completely transform a the orangery, bringing colour, texture and personality together to create something truly special.
