Just a little corner of loveliness that didn’t fall victim to the UK heatwave 🌿

Still green, still blooming, and bringing a little splash of colour to welcome our guests ♥️

Today’s guests left me this note…

Makes it all worth while 🕊️

I love making The Barn a special place for our guests, and finding a lovely message in the guest book at the end of their stay is so rewarding for me!

A reminder that all the little details don’t go unnoticed.

To every guest who has stayed with us, written in our book, recommended us to a friend, come back again and again, or simply treated The Barn like their own home — thank you.

You really are the best.

Thank you.

If you need an excuse to visit… Belton House is as good as any 🌿🏛️ Belton Estate, National Trust

Just 5 miles from The Barn Allington, this beautiful National Trust estate is right on our doorstep — perfect for wandering through its 1,300 acres of magical parkland, just like we did on Sunday 🗺️

Peaceful walks, beautiful views and little adventures - a perfect trip out during your stay. You could happily lose a whole day there 🌳

Another little reason to make The Barn Allington your base for exploring this beautiful corner of Lincolnshire 🤍

(It also has an amazing adventure playground and mini train - shhhhhh, don’t tell the children!)

After 7 weeks of glorious sunshine, scorched lawns and hosepipe bans… IT’S RAINING! 🌧️💙

We can smell it, see it, feel it and hear it — and we’ve never been so ridiculously happy about British weather 😂

The hydrangeas are practically throwing a party 🌸💦
