The Leather Bottle is known to many as Charles Dickens Favorite Ale House in Cobham Kent. The great man himself not only used the inn and often stayed in Room 2 & 6 but he also featured it in The Pickwick Papers for it was here that the lovelorn Mr Tracy Tupman fled after being jilted by his sweetheart Rachel Wardle, where he drowned his sorrows in Mr Pickwick's company. We served all fresh dishe
s prepared on site, local where possible using carefully sourced suppliers. We have our own in house Ale brewed by Greeneking exclusively for us and proudly named The Leather Bottle Ale. WE have a heated Marquee and there are big Changes happening throughout, our garden is to die for in the summer months so come down with the family to our outside Gin bar and enjoy one of our many Gins or a jug of Pimms to share.
