The clocks have gone back, so Sunday just got a little longer. 🍂

And with an extra hour to spare, there’s time for one more coffee — best enjoyed slowly,
somewhere warm, while the world outside takes its time.

An extra hour calls for a slower morning, a proper Sunday roast and nowhere else you need to be.

Settle in by the fire, enjoy a glass of something good and let lunch turn into a long, leisurely afternoon.

The Lamb Inn | Great Rissington, Cotswolds

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Lamb Inn.

This is a 3-day-a-week position, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We're a busy, food-focused country pub with a passionate team, and we're looking for someone who's happy to get stuck in and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

What we're offering:

£13 per hour + tips

3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Staff meals on shift

25% staff discount on food and drinks

Friendly and supportive team

What we're looking for:

Must be over 18

Reliable, hardworking and a team player

Able to work in a busy kitchen environment

Previous experience is a bonus but not essential

October Sundays were made for this. Roast beef, a Yorkshire the size of your head, the fire on and dark by six, so there’s no reason to leave.

Two sittings, 12 to 5.30. The late one is the quiet one, and the good tables tend to go early.

Join us on Wednesday 28 October at 5pm for our Pumpkin Carving Contest. Bring your
creativity, get stuck in and see what you can make — with prizes for every age group, from 4 to 12 years old.

A lovely little Halloween activity for the family, with plenty of pumpkins and a bit of friendly competition. 🍂
