By the North East England Tourism Awards!!
I have been so so desperate to tell you all and now the shortlist has finally been published I can share the news!! 🙌🏻
This is such a surreal moment for us, running a small business can be such a rollercoaster and sometimes it's really hard not to doubt yourself.
Getting this news has been such a confidence boost, to know that maybe we are doing something right!!
We're such a little business, while the whole family mucks in, we do actually only have one employee (me 😂) there's no big team supporting in the background, it's just lil old us figuring it all out as we go!
We've poured our hearts, souls, time and energy into every element of building, designing, curating and hosting at Roseberry Retreat and it's so lovely to know that you don't have to be big to make an impact, you just have to care 🥰
It's also crazy to look at the other incredible businesses that have been shortlisted, the North East is so full of incredible businesses and attractions, to see our little name up there among them is a real pinch me moment!!
So thank you to everyone who has booked a stay with us, who has recommended to their family and friends, shared photos and left us reviews and even those who consistently like our posts and interact with our stories on here, supporting us from the sidelines, it all adds up, it all gets noticed and we couldn't be here without you 💚
So here's to the next stage of the judging process!! But honestly, we just want to take this time to recognise what an achievement getting this far is! 🥂
